1. Information We Collect
Contact details: your full name, phone number, and email address.
Vehicle details: VIN, year, make, model, body type, license plate number and state, mileage, and registration sticker information.
Payment information is entered directly on Stripe's secure checkout. We receive confirmation of payment but never see or store your full card number.
2. How We Use Your Information
To perform your vehicle inspection, prepare your signed inspection certificate, email it to you, process refunds under our Pass Guarantee, and respond to support requests. We use your VIN to look up vehicle details from the NHTSA public database.
3. Sharing
We share information only with service providers needed to run the service: Stripe (payments) and our email delivery provider. We do not sell your personal information. We do not send your data to Uber or Lyft — you upload your certificate yourself.
4. Data Retention
We keep order and inspection records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal and record-keeping obligations.
5. Your California Privacy Rights
California residents may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information, subject to legal exceptions. To make a request, email support@ridecheckpro.com.
6. Security
Our site uses 256-bit SSL encryption, and payments are handled by Stripe. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
